RSIC-1 Clip

RSIC-1 Resilient Sound Isolation Clips provide a unique approach to sound isolation that will help prevent sound from transmitting through walls or floor/ceiling assemblies.

Experience with the RSIC-1 Clips has recorded remarkable improvements of up to an additional 20 STC points on walls.

While not used on floors directly, RSIC-1 Clips are very effective when used to decouple the ceiling assembly on lower levels. This system prevents structural vibrations from transferring into adjacent spaces and can greatly reduce overhead noise in the spaces below the flooring.

By isolating the ceiling drywall from the framing structure above, they help break the path of sound and vibration, making a noticeable difference in noise control. They’re especially useful in multi-story buildings or home theaters where sound control between levels is critical.
