Acoustic Flooring Underlay
Our acoustic flooring underlay is an eco-friendly rubber layer that’s made from recycled tires and designed specifically to reduce impact noise. It works by creating a “floating” floor effect–absorbing vibrational/impact energy from footsteps before it transfers to the subfloor, the joists and onto the studs for the walls below and spreads into the structure. Supplied in easy-to-install rolls, it’s an ideal solution for commercial and residential spaces, hotels, apartments, condos, or any space where you want to reduce noise without sacrificing sustainability.
This affordable acoustic flooring underlay made from recycled rubber is easily installed with DA-5 adhesive to reduce noise due to vibration between floor-ceiling assemblies.
