Is Grains - Linear Planks really made with real wood?
Yes! The veneer of the planks is REAL WOOD. The veneer is added to an engineered core to create what some would call acoustic 
magic.

Where can I use Grains - Linear Planks?
Grains - Linear Planks are versatile and can be installed on walls, ceilings, and maybe oriented horizontally or vertically 
to suit your preference. They make a great addition to any space in your home adding the beauty of real wood plus sound

basically everywhere.

Can these planks be installed on a ceiling?
Yes! Your ceiling will look great with Grains - Linear Planks. Installation instruction can be found HERE.

Can the planks be used as an exterior design solution?
These planks are made for indoor use. The patented SP Core Technology results in dimensional stability (significantly less 
expansion and twisting or bowing compared to solid wood planks). Grains may be used in transitional spaces such as entry areas 
or 3-season porches with seasonal variation of temperatures and humidity.

Can I clean my Grains - Linear Planks?
Yes! You can easily wipe the planks with a soft rag and mild cleaning solution or water.

Can Grains - Linear Planks be installed in my bathroom?
Yes, but not in wet areas such as showers, back splashes, or behind toilets.

Can Grains - Linear Planks be used as flooring?
These planks are made for wall and ceiling application and should not be used as flooring.

Can I cut Grains - Linear Planks?
Yes! You can cut Grains - Linear Planks! These planks are easy to cut and even easier on the eyes. Make sure to plan for your 
planks, measure twice, and cut once.

Do all the planks look exactly the same?
No, the planks will not be identical since wood has some variation in wood grain patterns.

Can I order samples?

Can I request custom sizes or finishes?
Grains - Linear Planks cannot be custom ordered at this time. To keep lead times down we offer a limited variety of colors and 
one size of plank.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated based on location the product is being shipped to and the speed that you choose to maintain your 
project’s timeline. Add your requested dimensions to your cart and visit the checkout to calculate total delivery costs.

What is acclimation and why is it important?
Acclimation is conditioning the wood planks to the moisture content of the environment that they will be installed in. 
It is important to acclimate the planks for 72 hours in the room you intend on installing them.

Can I hang things on it?
You can hang items on it, but you need to make sure that any nails or screws are going to be long enough to go through the 
planks AND drywall into the wall stud for a secure anchor point. Grains - Linear Planks are not designed to be weight bearing. 
Also keep in mind that any holes drilled into the planks will not be easily hidden if you decide to move the wall hanging.

Can I refinish, or paint my planks?
No. Due to the need of the micro perforations to be open and clear you should not refinish or paint Grains - Linear Planks. 
Doing so will remove the acoustic function of the planks.
