Wool Core – Absorbs, Filters & Breaks Down Harmful VOC’s From The Air
Also available with a 1/4lb MLV Barrier core to assist with blocking noise transfer
Reflects Thermal Energy
Variety of Fabric Options
Sound absorbingCurtains primarily designed to absorb more sound than standard decorative curtains. These noise reduction curtains are made with sound absorbing material and are ideally used where control of acoustic reflection off of glass and ambient light control are required. These acoustical curtains feature a core material of naturally fire resistant wool fabric that is sandwiched between a decorative fabric and a blackout liner. These noise reducing curtains’ wool core material has also been shown to continuously filter harmful VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) from the air. These will also reflect thermal energy and block light when drawn across a window or doorway.
Sound barrier Curtains still offer absorption performance, but also include a 1/4lb MLV core to assist with blocking noise transfer through the curtain. These can only be done in a Grommet option, due to weight of barrier.
All Curtains are 60"w x 96"h before fullness is applied
- Grommet Headers are 1.25 Fullness, which yields a finished curtain approx. 48"w x 96"h
- Pleated w/Hooks Headers are 1.5 Fullness, which yields a finished curtain approx. 40"w x 96"h
- Fabric Loops and Rod Pocket are 0 Fullness, so these yield a finished curtain at 60"w x 96"h (measured from top of loop or pocket)
